I went to join the seminar for language schools held in Tokyo. On the way home I could see the beautiful Mt. Fuji from the airplane.
We are happy to live in Japan where we can live freely and comfortably.
Ｈowever now we are worrying about the crisis about the crisis related to North Korea.
As one of Japanese people, I would like to protect Japan and keep it clean and beautiful forever.
Every spring we can see beautiful cherry blossoms. We appreciate things the nature has given us. Entrance ceremonies are held. New students and their mothers go to their schools. They have a lot of hopes.
Spring is the beginning of new things.
Let's start challenging ourselves in order to see the unknown world.
I had wanted to see the rising sun from the precinct of Kabutoyama Daishi temple on January 1st for a long time because it is very famous for its panorama view. Fortunately I realized it this year. I arrived there at 6:30 am. There were already so many people that I could not approach its observation platform. I climbed up the cliff located at the back of the temple. As the eastern sky was getting red, more and more people came to see the sunrise. Finally the top of the sun appeared at 7:08 am. All of us felt happy and celebrated the first sunrise of 2017 together.
I had a chance to visit Yasukuni shrine.
Do you know Yasukuni shrine was built by Meiji Emperor? So its history is not so long. There is a very big red gate called Torii in front of the shrine. It was made of steel so that it could stand in even a big earthquake with an intensity of 7.
The way of building this shrine is called Shinmei Dukuri (神明造）.The shape of its roof is so beautiful.
There are several guards in its precinct. They looked very strict unlike ones in other shrines.
I heard the lecture by Mr. Tsuyoshi Morioka who is the CMO of Universal Studio Japan. He has become very famous because he recovered the sales of USJ including constructing the attraction of Hally Potter. His lecture was so great that many people rushed to the place where his books were sold outside the lecture room just after his lecture finished.
He gave us a lot of information, inspiration and courage.I felt happy to look at him in the reality.
I went to Iwashizu shrine near ChaChaEnglish because I wanted to see a big circle made of the dried plant named Kaya. This circle is called Chi no Wa in Japanese. I was happy to see the big circle in front of the shrine. A lot of people will gather here at 7 pm on June 30th and they will pass through the circle walking in line hoping their impurities which they have put on for 6 months will be removed by doing so.I myself passed through the circle today hoping so.
6 months of 2016 will have passed on June 30th. We will prepare for the latter half of this year.
I went to Dazaihu Tenmangu where Michizane Sugawara, the god of studying was enshrined. It was my third time to visit there. I went there 13 years ago for the first time. Next it was 3 years ago to go there. At that time I prayed for the god to pass the Eiken test there.
I wrote my wish on a special board called Ema and hung it down in the precinct of the temple. Fortunately my wish came true. In order to thank for the god, I went there this time. I've decided to try to become a person who can have good influence on others with this certificate that was given by the god.
Kannoji temple is located on the foot of Mt. Kabuto in Nishinomiya city. We can see the special statue of Kannon ( Goddess) just on May 18th every year. Many people visit it .I feel very happy because I can visit this year, too.

This is the scenery that we can see from the window of ChaCha classroom.
It was warm last October and November. That's why we couldn't see colorful mountains even at the end of November. Finally the mountains have just turned red and yellow.
By the way there are the seasonal words related to mountains used in 俳句.
Can you translate those seasonable words in English?
山笑う 山滴る 山装う 山眠る
